About Us
Meals on Wheels Queanbeyan provides a home-delivered meal service to frail, aged people, people with a disability and their carers within the Queanbeyan-Palerang Council Region and beyond. The service is not means tested and anyone who is Registered with My Aged Care, on a Home Care Package, or a NDIS Plan can access our service. We invite anyone in the Region to contact us to have a chat and seek information on how Meals on Wheels may assist them.
It is our aim to enable people to be independent and comfortable within their own homes for much longer. This avoids premature admission to aged care facilities and allows people to live in the comfort and familiarity of their own homes.

Our service is so much more than just the meal that is delivered. Our Volunteers provide daily contact to clients reducing social isolation, a wellbeing check and a friendly chat. Increasing our service to as many rural residents as possible means great overall health for those who choose to remain in the comfort of their own homes as they age.
